SBS Sana Building Systems LFTZ operates the largest and most advanced pre-engineered building (PEB) and steel structure factory in West Africa. Cold Formed Production
We use CNC-controlled cold rolling machines to produce components such as roof and wall sheets, mezzanine deck panels, roof purlins, wall girts, and Z- and C-sections. Additional products include trims, flashings, downpipes, rolled GI angles, cable bracings, and more.
Preparation
Operations such as plasma arc cutting, oxy-flame cutting, shearing, and punching are conducted to produce detailed components, including connection plates, base plates, stiffeners, gusset plates, standard purlin clips, main frame flanges, and webs.
Main Frame Pre-Assembly and Autoweld
Automatic submerged arc seam welding is employed for web and flange splicing, while auto tack welding units assemble the H-shaped PEB frames. Fully automated twin-wire submerged arc welding produces semi-finished mainframes for pre-engineered steel buildings.
Fitting and Assembly
Skilled personnel and inspectors handle the fitting and assembly of semi-finished PEB frames using connection plates, base plates, end plates, and shear connection plates. Temporary tack welds are applied using low hydrogen electrode E 7018.
Full Welding
The fully assembled frames undergo welding using a semi-automatic flux-cored arc welding process developed in compliance with AWS D 1.1 standards. This welding is conducted by certified welders adhering to American Welding Society quality criteria.
Surface Preparation and Painting
Our fully automated blasting and painting bay removes superficial rust from steel components, enhancing paint adhesion. The materials are then painted using an airless spray paint technique to prevent rusting and extend their lifespan.
